About this file
This Request for Information (RFI) seeks input from organizations working in Mexico's semiconductor ecosystem regarding workforce development for the industry. Responses should address the RFI's eight questions, including assessments of Mexico and U.S. workforce preparedness and opportunities for USAID to support development. Submissions may be in English or Spanish and are due by February 12, 2024. USAID/Mexico intends to share responses with current and potential partners to inform future opportunities, though responding carries no advantage. The related Federal Contract Opportunity indicates USAID Mexico seeks to increase its understanding of the semiconductor industry in Mexico, with interest in workforce development and nearshoring impacts. A Spanish translation is provided for reference.
