About this file
This is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the United States Air Force Logistics Readiness Squadron (LRS) for market research on functional fitness containers. The RFI, dated 07/24/2026 with responses due by 07/30/2026, seeks information on products equivalent to the Beaverfit TL-8H containerized fitness system. The Government requires two freestanding, outdoor-rated, 8-foot minimum functional fitness containers capable of accommodating simultaneous training for 12+ individuals per unit and supporting up to 60 personnel total per container.
Each unit must meet specific salient characteristics including an 8-foot standard shipping container base, height-adjustable pull-up bars and folding squat racks, integrated shelving with heavy-duty storage straps, built-in forklift pockets, NATO Air Portable certification, weather-resistant coating (hot-dip galvanization and powder-coating), secure door locks, and freestanding design requiring no permanent ground anchoring. The minimum accessory outfit per unit includes 3 Olympic barbell sets with collars, 3 bumper plate sets (minimum 370 lbs each), 8 kettlebells, 6 medicine/slam balls, 4 suspension trainers (TRX style), 2 battle ropes, and 2 flat/adjustable utility benches. A one-year warranty is required covering rigging, weather-resistant coating, and door locking mechanisms. Interested GSA MAS vendors must submit capability statements including company information, product specifications, equivalent compatibility documentation, pricing per unit with delivery to Tyndall AFB (Florida), delivery lead time, and warranty details to samuel.pendleton.1@us.af.mil and mekayla.dedo.2@us.af.mil by 07/30/2026.

DATE: 07/24/2026

1.0 INTRODUCTION & DISCLAIMER
This is a Request for Information (RFI) only. This RFI is issued for the purpose of market research to determine the interest and capabilities of vendors to provide functional fitness containers that meet the minimum salient characteristics detailed below. The Government is seeking information on products equivalent to a Beaverfit (Manufacturer Part Number TL-8H) functional fitness container.
This is not a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this RFI is to obtain knowledge of the capabilities, interest, and potential sources available. The Government will not award a contract based on this RFI or reimburse any costs associated with preparing a response.
2.0 BACKGROUND & PURPOSE
The United States Air Force (USAF) requires a solution to support the daily Physical Training (PT) requirements for the Logistics Readiness Squadron (LRS). Because the LRS is a high-tempo, 24/7 mission-essential squadron, personnel operate on continuous, rotating shift schedules. The squadron's work area is not co-located with a standard base fitness center, making off-shift travel to a gym logistically impractical.
The acquisition of containerized gyms will provide a localized, self-contained physical training platform directly at the LRS work site. This ensures that LRS personnel across all operational shifts have unrestricted, round-the-clock access to training equipment to maintain combat readiness, meet mandatory USAF fitness assessment standards, and mitigate workplace injuries.
3.0 SCOPE OF REQUIREMENT
The Government requires two (2) freestanding, outdoor-rated, 8-foot (minimum) functional fitness containers capable of serving as both secure equipment storage units and multi-modality training rigs. The system must natively support high-throughput, tactical physical readiness training for up to 60 personnel simultaneously per unit.
