About this file
This is a Scope of Work exhibit for a highway access closure project on US Route 101 in an unspecified state jurisdiction, detailing work to be performed between mileposts 209.44 and 209.65 on the southbound side. The project involves the removal of approximately 335 feet of standard curb and gutter along with five access aprons, followed by earthwork preparation and foundation construction for concrete structures. The contractor must construct approximately 335 feet of standard 24-inch concrete curb and gutter (RD700) with a 6-inch curb reveal to match existing conditions, furnish and place Commercial Asphalt Concrete Pavement per specifications, and blade, re-grade, level, and compact the gravel area behind the new curb and gutter. All work must be completed in accordance with applicable specifications and project direction from the Project Manager. The document specifies that all noted lengths are approximate and must be field-verified prior to bidding, with contractors required to notify the Project Manager of any discrepancies. The exhibit includes five detailed figures showing the specific locations of each access point to be removed and the overall project boundaries.
The document does not contain pricing information, set-aside requirements, incumbent contractor details, funding sources, or contract term specifications. No response dates, bid due dates, site visit schedules, or bidders' conferences are referenced in this scope of work exhibit. The project allows for salvaging of existing base materials if approved by the Project Manager, providing some flexibility in execution. This exhibit serves as the technical foundation for the project and would typically be accompanied by separate solicitation documents containing procurement details, pricing requirements, and contractual terms.
