About this file
This is a Request for Bids (RFB) issued by the State of Maine, Office of Information Technology (OIT), for APC Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS). The State seeks to establish a three-year Master Agreement with a single vendor to supply APC UPS equipment and add-ons, leveraging an existing installed base of over 500 APC UPS units across Maine state agencies. Bidders must be APC-certified resellers. The RFB requires vendors to submit pricing for commonly purchased UPS models, including the Smart-UPS 120V SMT1500, Smart-UPS XL 120V variants in multiple configurations, Smart-UPS RT 230V SURT6KRMXL3U-TF5, RBC44 Replacement Battery, and SMX120RMBP2U External Battery Pack. All equipment must be new manufacture and delivered within 10 business days of order receipt to Augusta, Maine, with all shipping and handling costs included at no additional charge.
Award will be based on the highest discount percentage off manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) for APC's complete line of UPS equipment and add-ons, with secondary consideration given to the specific discounted costs of the example equipment listed. Bidders must complete detailed cost tables providing both their global discount percentage and specific discounted pricing for each listed item. Standard warranty includes one-year battery coverage and two-year unit warranties, with vendors required to designate a warranty contact. The State of Maine is tax-exempt and will pay via check, EFT, or procurement card. The successful vendor must accept orders from political subdivisions and school districts in Maine at quoted prices. The Master Agreement may be extended beyond the three-year term at the State Purchasing Director's discretion with contractor consent and may be cancelled with 30 days' written notice.
