STATEMENT OF WORK

for

HAZARDOUS MATERIAL TESTING FY24

1. GENERAL

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD, N00174) at Indian Head, MD has a requirement for Hazardous Material Testing of building materials.

2.0 SCOPE

Analyze samples provided by NSWC IHD personnel to determine if any hazardous materials exist. Analysis is required for work to continue to determine proper methods for remediation and repair from areas where samples were taken.

3.0 REQUIREMENT

3.1 The Government shall provide samples of building materials to the Contractor to conduct various tests to check if hazardous material exists. Samples may come from any areas of a building to include, but not limited to, paint, steam pipe insulation, and flooring.

3.2 The Contractor shall be located within 40 road miles of 3767 Strauss Avenue, Indian Head, MD, to facilitate command personnel dropping off samples for testing.

3.3 The Contractor shall conduct tests for hazardous substances to include, but not limited to, lead, asbestos, and mold spore counts.

3.4 The Contractor shall provide laboratory analysis results containing the findings for each sample via email to the Government Technical Point of Contact.

3.5 Contract Year Costs:

The cost of the outline scope of work shall provide for a not-to-exceed amount.

4.0 PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE

The Period of Performance shall begin on the date of award and continue for one (1) year with the potential for four (4) one-year option periods.

5.0 DELIVERABLES

The Technical Point of Contact (TPOC) and Contracting Officer (KO) for this contract will approve all deliverables as specified.
