Unique Qualifications Full Text
Natural Lands Trust (NLT) is a significant land manager within the greater Delaware River watershed.
NLT provides technical assistance in enhancement, restoration and management of natural and agricultural areas to other non-profits, educational institutions, businesses, private landowners, and state and local governments. NLT provides interpretation and education services to visitors and school groups, and plays a critical role as a leading conservation organization in eastern Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey. Through its broad geographic coverage and variety of programs and activities— including land conservation and related educational programs; agricultural lands preservation; and passive, resource-sensitive recreation--NLT has proven to be an excellent conservation partner. NLT also has a unique understanding of wild and scenic river management issues as a named partner to the
Lower Delaware Wild and Scenic River Management Committee which the NPS is charged with coordinating its management and administrative responsibilities under PL106-418, consistent with the
Partnership Wild and Scenic model.
