About this file
This is a product specification brochure for UniMac UT Series 120-200 lb commercial tumble dryers. The document details three industrial dryer models: UT120 (120 lb capacity), UT170 (170 lb capacity), and UT200 (200 lb capacity), manufactured by Alliance Laundry Systems in Ripon, Wisconsin. Each model offers multiple control options including UniLinc Touch and M Series controls, with energy configurations available in gas, steam, and electric (UT120 only). Key features include the optional OPTidry over-dry prevention technology that can save 8 minutes per load and reduce annual utility costs by $450-$2,008 depending on capacity, and the optional C.A.R.E. fire suppression system.
The dryers feature dimensions ranging from 46.4-53.2 inches in width, 68-74.9 inches in depth, and 85.7-94 inches in height, with cylinder diameters of 44-50.8 inches. Energy ratings span from 270,000-425,000 Btu/hr for gas models and 334,750-502,125 Btu/hr for steam models, with the UT120 electric model rated at 60 kW. All models include 1.5 HP motors for both fan and cylinder operations, airflow ratings of 1,400-2,150 cfm, and CSA agency approvals. The UniLinc Touch control system offers a capacitive touch screen interface with 34 language options, diagnostic capabilities, and seamless integration with UniMac washer-extractors for operational continuity.

TAKING CARE OF YOUR
TOUGHEST LAUNDRY CHALLENGES.
MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE
WITH MORE CONTROL
Quality results are the goal of your on-premises laundry. However, you also want advanced functionality and access to the data that enables you to better manage your resources. UniMac® Premium tumble dryers deliver exceptional performance along with our legendary durability, while offering complete control of the operation.
LOWER YOUR COSTS WITH UNIMAC
Drying cycles are usually 30 percent longer than wash cycles.
Reducing dry times to match wash times enables you to run your laundry at maximum efficiency. Our dryers are designed for fast drying, while balancing energy costs. With more than 70 years of dryer engineering experience, we have found the perfect balance between drying time and actual Btu usage to conserve energy, maximize throughput and lower labor costs.
OVER-DRY PREVENTION TECHNOLOGY*
UniMac’s optional OPTidry system takes efficiency further by eliminating costly over-drying. Removing over-drying from your laundry not only reduces utility expenses, but also curbs labor costs and extends linen life, saving up to thousands of dollars annually.
* OPTidry™ is available for tumble dryers with UniLinc Touch and select M Series control packages.
