About this file
This Request for Information (RFI) is issued by the Air National Guard Readiness Center (ANGRC) Detachment 11/Air National Guard (ANG) Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) Test Center (AATC) Maintenance and Logistics Division to identify potential sources for Ultrasound Nondestructive Inspection Equipment for use on multiple aircraft types. The RFI seeks a sophisticated ultrasound inspection system with specific technical requirements, including modern hardware/software, ability to perform A, B, and C scans, capability to identify structural defects in composite materials, and perform inspections without stripping painted surfaces.
Interested vendors must provide a 10-page technical response including a cover page with business details, a comprehensive technical description covering system name, model, function, technology description, and how the system meets specified parameters. The response should include system pictures, special features, vendor certifications, and testing results. Commercial and non-developmental systems are acceptable. Responses should be submitted via email to the Contract Specialist, Dormey Blankmann, at dormey.blankmann@us.af.mil. The government emphasizes that this RFI is for information gathering only, with no intention to award a contract or reimburse response costs.
