About this file
This addendum to a Request for Quotation issued by Long Beach Utilities on July 30, 2025, addresses changes and additions to the original RFQ for furnishing and delivering industrial gases. Bidders are required to acknowledge receipt of this addendum by signing and returning it with their quotation. The addendum does not specify response deadlines, bid due dates, site visits, bidders' conferences, award dates, or contract terms; these details are contained in the original RFQ document.
The addendum clarifies that LPG propane needs should be referenced in the Bid Form Section of the RFQ, and identifies Matheson as the current incumbent contractor for all products. Current pricing and invoicing information is not provided through the addendum; interested parties must submit a Public Records Act request through the City's designated website. Annual volume projections are not tracked by location, as purchases are made on an as-needed basis. Esme Houtepen prepared the addendum on behalf of Long Beach Utilities.
