About this file
This is a Bidder's Response Spreadsheet for an Invitation to Bid (ITB) issued by the University of Connecticut Health Center (UConn Health) for American Heart Association Basic Life Support Training and Recertification Services. The ITB seeks qualified suppliers to provide BLS training and recertification services for both medical and dental staff to maintain their certifications. The contract term is three years, approximately July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2029, with UConn Health holding the option to renew for two additional two-year periods. The spreadsheet requires bidders to respond to comprehensive qualification questions, provide three current client references and one previous client reference, and submit detailed pricing for two service items: recertification training for one person and training for 450 persons, both at the Healthcare Provider Level with industry-standard materials including training manuals, pocket masks, and certification cards.
Bidders must demonstrate possession of American Heart Association Training Center certification, BLS Coordinator certification, and BLS Trainer certification, and must be capable of providing on-site training at UConn Health facilities on a prescheduled basis. Pricing shall remain fixed throughout the initial three-year term with no increases allowed; price adjustments of up to 3% may be requested during six-month windows preceding annual anniversary dates during renewal periods. Payment terms are net 45 days, with bidders exempt from excise, transportation, and sales taxes pursuant to Connecticut General Statutes section 12-412. The business will be awarded to the lowest responsible qualified bidder as defined in Connecticut General Statutes section 4a-60(a), and the winning bidder must accept UConn Health's standard terms and conditions without exception. No subcontracting is permitted, and the awarded contractor must provide certificates of insurance naming UConn Health as an additional insured prior to service commencement.
