About this file
This document is a product data sheet for the Ops-Core AMP U174 Connectorized Downlead Cable, produced by Gentex Corporation for military and tactical communication systems. The data sheet details a multi-channel capable headset connection solution that allows operators to customize their communication interface through various downlead cable options. The cables come in two lengths (21" and 27"), two colors (tan and black), and three audio configuration types: monaural (mono audio to one ear), stereo (independent audio to two ears), and mono binaural (mono audio signal to both ears). The product is designed for the Adaptive Mission Platform (AMP) Headset and offers IPX7 immersion rating.
The product specifications include multiple part numbers for different cable configurations, with precise manufacturer part numbers for each variant. The document provides technical diagrams illustrating the three audio configuration options and includes contact information for Ops-Core at Gentex Corporation in Manchester, NH. While directly linked to a potential City of Tampa Police Department SWAT team procurement opportunity, the data sheet itself is a technical specification document focused on providing detailed product information for potential military, law enforcement, and tactical communication users seeking flexible and adaptable headset connection solutions.
