Request For Quote (RFQ) Performance Work Statement of Work (PWS) for Army National Guard (ARNG) 2002 KALYN/SIEBERT

Model KSHRG-3-53T-A lowboy trailer Rehabilitation

1. REQUIREMENT DESCRIPTION

1.1 The Montana Army National Guard, United States Property and Fiscal Office (USPFO) has a 2002 KALYN/SIEBERT Model KSHRG-3-53T-A lowboy trailer that needs to be rebuilt. This trailer is critical to maintaining the Guard’s operational readiness by enabling the efficient and safe movement of essential equipment. Decades of heavy use have resulted in significant wear and tear, including fatigue in structural materials and mechanical parts. Without a comprehensive rebuild, the risk of catastrophic failure increases, potentially leading to equipment damage, operational delays, and safety hazards. This rebuild is intended to enhance the trailer’s safety, durability, and compliance with current standards

2. INSTRUCTIONS TO QUOTERS

The solution that provides a greater benefit (such as warranty and time for repair) to the Government will be rated more favorably. Not all replacement parts are equal, please indicate the replacement parts used and any warranty/durability information. (example, tires that have a higher mileage/time warranty will be rated more favorably). Quotes that restate the requirements or simply state they will meet the requirements shall not be rated as favorably as quotes that provide objective responses or answer “How” the requirement will be met.

2.1.5 Past performance - Per DFARS 213.106-2(b)(i) past performance will include data pulled from Supplier Performance Risk System (SPRS) located in the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) platform.
