About this file
This is a traceability documentation request letter issued in response to Solicitation SPMYM4-25-Q-3395 for an oscilloscope supply contract. The letter requires the quoted supplier to provide documentation establishing that the Part Number DPO5054B oscilloscope sourced from the approved manufacturer Tektronix can be traced back to the authorized source, in compliance with Defense Logistics Acquisition Directive (DLAD) 52.217-9002. The contracting officer specifies that acceptable traceability documentation must include one of the following: a quotation from an approved source, a letter or official website confirmation from Tektronix listing the company as an authorized dealer/distributor, or documentation showing the company's procurement source is an authorized dealer/distributor of Tektronix along with that source's quotation. The deadline for submitting acceptable traceability documentation is close of business May 18, 2026, at 2:30 PM Honolulu Standard Time. Failure to provide sufficient traceability information by this deadline will result in automatic rejection of the quote without further consideration. The contracting officer notes that all submitted traceability documentation will be treated as proprietary information and may be validated by contacting the source documents directly. Any altered or modified documentation is explicitly unacceptable and will not be considered in the technical evaluation.
