Summary

This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for Emergency Diesel Generator (EDG) renewal materials supporting three U.S. Navy submarines: USS Columbia (SSN 771), USS Nebraska (SSBN 739), and USS Rhode Island (SSBN 740). The requirement will be procured under Basic Ordering Agreement N64498-26-G-1004 with Fairbanks Morse, LLC, issued by the Department of the Navy Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA). The presolicitation notice (PD-42-0205) indicates that a formal solicitation will follow, establishing the framework for delivery of EDG renewal components and materials necessary to maintain emergency power generation capability across the specified submarine fleet.

The SOW establishes performance requirements and technical specifications for the EDG renewal project, detailing the scope of materials, delivery schedules, and performance standards required to support submarine operational readiness. This effort supports critical submarine maintenance operations and falls under the Navy's submarine sustainment portfolio. Interested contractors should review the complete SOW documentation for technical requirements, delivery timelines, quality assurance standards, and any applicable performance metrics or acceptance criteria specific to submarine emergency diesel generator systems.
