Questions Regarding Solicitation Number TIRNO-10-R-00026

Cafeteria Service for the IRS-Enterprise Computing in Kearneysville, West Virginia

1. Question: On Attachment 1, please confirm all we need to complete is 30 a, b and c.

Answer: Yes. Please only complete blocks 30 a, b, and c.

2. Question: On Standard Form 1449, please confirm all we need to complete is the pricing.

Answer: Yes. Only complete the pricing information.

3. Question: In SECTION IV, 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors, in the chart below (b) (8), the explanation next to Tab 5 references submitting Attachment 7 but I don’t find that attachment. Please provide Attachment 7.

Answer: The attachment referenced was inadvertently omitted. Therefore, an attachment entitled “Responsible Official Who Can Receive Notification of an Improper Invoice and Answer Questions Regarding the Invoice” will be inserted in Section III as Attachment 6 of the Solicitation Submittal Forms and will be indicated in the Instructions to Offerors of Section IV, Volume I Tab 5 as Attachment 6 and not Attachment 7.

4. Question: Also in SECTION IV, 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors, under Volume II – Corporate Experience and Past Performance, it indicates we are to complete and submit Attachment 3, Experience Summary Sheet (located in Section III, Solicitation Submittal Forms) for a minimum of three and a maximum of five contracts that are ongoing or have been completed after December 31, 2006. However, on p.78 under (I.) Corporate Experience, it requests we provide information regarding its corporate experience of similar size and complexity as outlined in the statement of work for no more than 3 of our most current contracts. These requirements seem to overlap. Should we submit only 3 contracts under the corporate experience section?

Answer: Yes. Please adhere to the instruction of providing no more than 3 of your most current contracts as it relates to Corporate Experience.

5. Question: We understand from the site visit yesterday that Executive Order 13495 requires us to give the current employees in your food service operation the "right of first refusal" for the same or similar jobs under a new follow-on contract. Are you able to provide us with the current wages for the food service workers at the IRS facility?

Answer: Yes.

6. Question: What is the population of each the main building and the annex?

Answer: On average, there are approximately 500 persons who occupy the main facility each day due to varying work schedules, training classes, etc. This average includes those who travel from the Annex building to the main building at 250 Murall Drive.

7. Question: Are there any vending machines located on the same floor as the cafeteria?

Answer: No. The vending machines are located on other floors within the building.

8. Question: In regard to pricing for the menu selections. Are they current?

Answer: Yes.

9. Question: In regard to the small-ware inventory, will that stay?

Answer: This is not government-furnished inventory.
