About this file

This document is a Request for Information (RFI) for the Technology Innovation Discovery Event (TIDE) 2024 sponsored by the Office of Innovation and Modernization (I&M) within the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD(R&E)).

The RFI seeks to identify technologies from private industry, government research and development organizations, and academia to participate in the TIDE 2024 event, which is an invitation-only exhibition structured similar to a trade show. TIDE 2024 aims to discover emerging technologies that may produce surprising impacts, including unknown capabilities, unanticipated applications, unprecedented scale and speed, and unexpected disruptions. Submissions should address one technology solution and be provided using the provided quad chart template by the application deadline of 5:00 PM EDT on June 14, 2024. Selection of participants will be based on the relevance to the event focus areas, technical readiness level, and adaptability to Department of Defense or interagency partner operations/missions. The RFI is not a solicitation for procurement or acquisition proposals, and the government does not intend to award a contract or pay for the information provided.
