About this file
Addendum No. 2 for The Market at Cadillac Commons project, issued by DK Design Group on October 14, 2024, provides updated specifications for a renovation project in Cadillac, Michigan. The addendum addresses multiple civil, architectural, and electrical items, including modifications to the retaining wall, landscape stone requirements, EV charging station installation details, rain garden specifications, and approval of an alternate overhead door model. Key technical requirements include reconstructing the retaining wall using salvaged or new blocks, using 1"-3" river rock for landscaping, installing EV charging stations with specific electrical and warranty requirements, and preparing the rain garden with 4-inch depth shredded wood mulch.
The addendum does not provide specific pricing details but offers precise technical guidance for contractors bidding on the project. The EV charging station specifications are particularly detailed, requiring two separate 80 Amp service lines, OCP protocol compliance, and a comprehensive warranty covering parts, labor, and accidental damage. Electrical work is to include all necessary infrastructure like breakers, conduits, and pull strings. The document references original specification sheets and emphasizes that the general character of the work remains consistent with the original contract documents, with these addendum items providing clarification and minor modifications to the original project specifications.
