About this file
This is a Forfeited Land Sale Block Notice issued by Cuyahoga County Executive Armond Budish and Fiscal Officer Michael W. Chambers, announcing the public sale of real property parcels forfeited to the State of Ohio due to long-term tax delinquency. The sale will occur August 31 through September 4, 2026, at the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland. All properties are located within Cuyahoga County and are subject to removal from sale at any time at the discretion of the county. The notice identifies parcels by parcel number rather than address, as properties may include lands, lots, and parts of lots. Prospective buyers must not be delinquent on real estate taxes anywhere in the State of Ohio to be eligible for purchase.
Properties will be sold to satisfy existing liens, including taxes, assessments, charges, penalties, interest, and costs. If a parcel sells for less than the amount charged against it, the court may enter a deficiency judgment against the last owner of record for the difference. All forfeited parcels offered for sale will be sold subject to all existing liens and encumbrances other than those for which the property is being sold. The complete list of available properties is accessible on the Cuyahoga County website at http://www.cuyahogacounty.us. Names appearing on the Forfeited Land Sale List represent prior owners as stated in the Order of Forfeiture.

CUYAHOGA COUNTY EXECUTIVE
ARMOND BUDISH
FISCAL OFFICER
MICHAEL W. CHAMBERS, CPA
FORFEITED LAND SALE
On August 31 through September 4, 2026, our office will make available for sale parcels of real property. All the properties are located within Cuyahoga County. All properties have been forfeited to the State of Ohio due to long term tax delinquency. These properties cannot be sold to a person who is delinquent on real estate taxes anywhere in the State of Ohio. All parcels are subject to being removed from the sale at any time and may or may not be eligible to be reoffered at a later date. The parcel number and not the address is used, as parcels include lands, lots, and parts of lots, any of which may be offered in this sale. Addresses provided are for reference only and may be inaccurate.
Notice is hereby given to all concerned that if the taxes, assessments, charges, penalties, interest, and costs charged on the list are not paid into the Cuyahoga County Treasury, before the date of the sale, each parcel, so forfeited will be offered for sale at Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland in order to satisfy the aforementioned liens. If the parcel is sold for an amount that is less than the amount charged against it, the court, in a separate order, may enter a deficiency judgment against the last owner of record, for the amount of the difference.
The name(s) on the Forfeited Land Sale List indicate the prior owner, as stated on the Order of Forfeiture.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN TO ALL CONCERNED THAT THE FORFEITED PARCELS THAT ARE OFFERED FOR SALE PURSUANT TO THIS NOTICE WILL BE SOLD SUBJECT TO ALL LIENS AND ENCUMBRANCES, WITH RESPECT TO THOSE TRACTS, LOTS, AND PARTS OF LOTS, OTHER THAN THE LIENS FOR WHICH THE PROPERTY IS SOLD.
The full list of properties is available on the Cuyahoga County website http://www.cuyahogacounty.us image1.png
