About this file

This document is a set of Technical Questions and Answers related to a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Food & Beverage Vending Machine Services for the District One Employee Benefit Fund in Florida. The RFP covers vending and market services at two locations - the District Headquarters and the SR60 Offices. Current annual vending sales are approximately $16,147, with a 15% commission rate generating around $4,450 in annual revenue. The RFP requires a minimum 15% commission on all sales. Employees have a minimum 30-minute lunch break and are permitted to leave the premises. The vendor is responsible for any theft or shrink in the market kiosks. The RFP also inquires about current equipment, service frequencies, employee population, and work schedules.

Regarding pricing, the document indicates that the last price increase is unknown, and the frequency of such increases is also unknown. The RFP states that the committee will not consider alternative commission models and will require the minimum 15% commission at all locations. There are also questions regarding internet connectivity and who is responsible for those costs. An addendum will be issued to extend the proposal due date due to the impact of Hurricane Ian.
