About this file

This document is a Question Resolution Matrix related to a Request for Information (RFI) for Theater Deployable Communications Contractor Logistics Support (TDC CLS). The overall objective is for the U.S. Air Force to obtain contractor comprehensive sustainment and support services for the TDC equipment, including depot-level logistical support in equipment sourcing, replacement, inventory, warehousing, and logistics management. This is a recomplete of an existing CLS effort. The government provided limited additional information beyond what is publicly available on the Federal Procurement Data System (FPDS), stating that further details would require submitting a FOIA request. No additional details were provided about the incumbent contractor, contract number, or contract value.

TDC CLS RFI - Question Resolution Matrix
NumberQuestionGovernment Response
1I found this solicitation on the sam.gov site, and I was wondering if you might be able to give me some more info on what the Air Force needs out of this. It reads to me, like the program is primarily interested in allowing a government contractor to take over logistics management. Is that correct? The overall objective is to obtain contractor comprehensive sustainment and support services for the USAF TDC equipment and ensure reliable operations for all TDC systems covered under this contract. The contractor shall provide comprehensive contractor support providing services to include, but not limited, to depot level logistical support in equipment sourcing, replacement, and inventory, warehousing, and logistics managment
2I was hoping to learn if this is considered a new requirement? If not, would it possible to get the incumbent contractor, contract number, and value? This is a recomplete of an existing CLS effort which has been posted to the Federal Procurement Data System (FPDS). Possible disclosure of additional information beyond that listed on FPDS will require the submission of a "clearly releasable" FOIA request.
