A1. Shade sizes are approximate based upon site observations. The contractor is to field verify actual sizes used.
Q2. The rocker control switches operate the shades now. We assume a 4 wire conductor system on relays. Is it the GSA's position that these systems are in good repair and capable of operating the current replacement models.
A2. Yes, we are not aware of operational problems.
Q3. If there are un-serviceable conductors or relays is it the GSA's position that the contractor replace as needed?
A3. Yes, if any are encountered during construction as an unforeseen condition, this will be considered outside of the present scope of work and will be addressed at that time.
Q4. The motors come standard with a 5 year warranty. The specification asks for 10 years. Does the GSA require that the contractor provide the additional warranty policy? We have been informed that this is a middle five figure policy.
