pURCHASE DESCRIPTION

DXDR Data Diode Processor Cards

1. INTRODUCTION

The Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Corona Division, Performance Assessment (PA) Department, Code 32 requires the purchase of Data Extraction / Data Reduction (DXDR) Data Diode Processor Cards in order to continue development of SmartData solution.

2. BACKGROUND

NSWC, Corona, Code PA32 is developing a Smart Data solution, which enables transfer of data from bandwidth constrained sources to NSWC Corona for analysis and further redistribution to Warfare Centers and other entities. This data could be from Real World or T&E events. The Smart Data development is funded by NISE funds and MDA/AB program office. This procurement is for DXDR Data Diode Processor Cards, which are an integral part of this solution.

These Processor Cards consist of two discrete items assembled together: System-On-Module (SOM) and the I/O Carrier Board. The items requested provide critical data path for the original data before it can be processed and transferred to NSWC Corona. Not having these technologically advanced items would be detrimental to the project, MDA, and Fleet needs.

3. REQUIREMENTS

The following requirements must be met:

Item # Part Number Description Brand Qty

AES-ZU7EV-1-SOM-G

UltraZed-EV System-On-Module (SOM) Avnet
