About this file

This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the inspection, repair, and/or overhaul of an FQIS EXT Panel Fuel component (Part Number 749746-1-1, NIIN 14-543-6786) for the United States Coast Guard.

The contractor must be an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), OEM Authorized Repair Center, or FAA Certified 145 Repair Center acceptable to the Coast Guard and must comply with ISO 9000 standards or maintain a quality system acceptable to the Coast Guard. The contractor is responsible for obtaining OEM drawings, Service Bulletins, and Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs) as these proprietary documents are not provided by the Coast Guard. The required turn-around-time is 280 days after receipt of material, with earlier delivery desired if no extra charges apply. All parts must be airworthy and suitable for installation on USCG aircraft and must include an FAA airworthiness release (8130-3 Certificate or EASA Form 1) with each component. The contractor must provide a Teardown and Inspection Report (TIR) within five calendar days of inspection, detailing part numbers, labor hours and rates, and replacement part costs. Components must be thoroughly cleaned per CMMs and freed of hazardous materials prior to return to the Aviation Logistic Center (ALC). Packaging and preservation must comply with applicable CMMs and ATA specifications, with each package containing only one component. The Coast Guard's Aviation Computerized Maintenance System (ACMS) will track all serial number components via a Significant Component History Report (SCHR) and Component Repair Record (CRR). Final inspection and acceptance will be performed by ALC quality assurance personnel.
