About this file
This document is a Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition for a Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) program by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support, Construction and Equipment Supply Chain. The proposed acquisition is for a bridge contract to provide MRO facilities maintenance and materials for the North Central Region, covering a 279-day period from June 28, 2025, through April 2, 2026, with a maximum dollar value of $90 million. The contract will be awarded to SupplyCore, Inc. and will include supplies such as HVAC equipment, plumbing supplies, electrical products, construction materials, perimeter security items, and various other maintenance-related supplies for war-fighters in the region.
This is the ninth bridge contract for the North Central Region, with previous contracts having been awarded to SupplyCore, Inc. since 2015. The justification indicates that no additional market research will be conducted, as the required supplies and services are only available from the incumbent contractor within the required timeframe. The contract is being pursued under 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), which allows for a non-competitive procurement when only one source can satisfy the agency's requirements. The contracting officers have certified that the anticipated cost will be fair and reasonable, based on price analysis and comparison to available commercial and government pricing.
