About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details the renewal of two ServiceNow third-party plugins for the NASA Shared Services Center (NSSC): Bravium Best Practice Engine (BPE) and Bravium Upgrade Assistant (BUA). The products provide automated code review, quality scanning, and instance governance capabilities, with a 5-year performance period from 6/4/2025 through 6/3/2030. BPE offers code quality metrics and best practices alignment, while BUA enables deeper analysis of ServiceNow instance customization and facilitates version upgrades.
The SOW specifies that product users must use agency-issued credentials, report issues through their supervisor or Enterprise Service Desk, and maintain strict information safeguarding protocols. The document emphasizes the critical nature of these plugins, noting that non-renewal would have an "incalculable" impact on the ServiceNow platform, potentially requiring reverse-engineering of highly-customized applications. The place of performance is the NASA Shared Services Center in Stennis Space Center, Mississippi, with options for remote work if authorized.

NSSC PRODUCT RENEWAL STATEMENTS OF WORK
ATTESTATION OF CONTINUED NEED
1. Descriptions/Requirements.
Bravium Best Practice Engine (BPE) and Bravium Upgrade Assistant (BUA) [initial renewals (co-terming)]
• BPE is a ServiceNow third party plugin providing automated code review, code quality scanning, best practices alignment, and reporting on these metrics and is licensed separately from ServiceNow.
• BUA is also a ServiceNow third party plugin delivering a powerful instance-governance-application in the ServiceNow ecosystem offering deeper analysis capabilities than anything else available. End-user gains better control of the customization of your instance while keeping ServiceNow version up-to-date and reducing the time required to upgrade when using Upgrade Assistant.
In the case of product non-performance, the NSSC ITAM should be notified immediately in order to liaise with the current Provider and/or the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).
2. Periods of Performance (POP):
• Year 1 of 5 - POP will be 6/4/2025 through 6/3/2026
• Year 2 of 5 - POP will be 6/4/2026 through 6/3/2027
• Year 3 of 5 - POP will be 6/4/2027 through 6/3/2028
• Year 4 of 5 - POP will be 6/4/2028 through 6/3/2029
• Year 5 of 5 - POP will be 6/4/2029 through 6/3/2030
3. Characteristics and Scope
• Bravium product users will sign in using only their own Agency-Issued credentials and have been cautioned about never sharing sign in credentials with others.
• Any problems encountered will be referred, first, to the end-user’s immediate superior. If resolution is cannot made, the end-user will initiate a ServiceNow Ticket to the Enterprise Service Desk (ESD)
• Whether the end-user works remotely on onsite, continual attention to the safeguarding of personal/private information is paramount.
• If necessary, escalation of the reported concern/product-defect will be made to the appropriate levels of NSSC management.
4. Impact (Non-renewal).
The overall impact to ServiceNow and all users would be incalculable. The NSSC’s ServiceNow platform has been/continues to be optimized in all respects thereby ensuring contractual SLAs and SLIs being met without interruption. Discontinuation would also result in many highly-customized applications having to be reverse-engineered [back] to their out-of-the-box states which would adversely impact all applications.
5. Place of Performance:
• NASA Shared Services Center, Building 1111, Stennis Space Center, MS (or remotely if authorized).
