STATEMENT OF WORK - Zylon Poly-Benzobisoxazole (PBO) Yarn
1. Objective/Requirements NASA is procuring Zylon Poly-Benzobisoxazole (PBO) Yarn with linear density of 1640 dtex HM. The Contractor shall deliver the yarn, quantities, and documentation as defined below.
2. Characteristics, Scope, and Specs The contractor shall provide the following:
• Provide Zylon Poly-Benzobisoxazole (PBO) Yarn with linear density and quantity as follows:
1) Zylon yarn 1640, dtex HM, 90 kg
• Material Certification Data Sheets shall be provided with each lot that includes description of material, quantity, manufacture date, and tested tenacity.
• Partial delivery of in-stock quantities of yarn with subsequent delivery of newly manufactured yarn is acceptable.
3. Place of Performance Contractor delivers items to NASA.
4. Period of Performance Delivery date of February 11, 2025.
