About this file
This is a Statement of Work template for the repair and remanufacture of hydraulic test stand equipment at NASA Langley Research Center.
The work encompasses the rebuild of two inoperable MTS-controlled hydraulic test stands located in Building 1205 (structures and materials laboratories) within the Durability Damage Tolerance and Reliability Branch. Four Contract Line Items (CLINs) are specified: CLIN 1 requires remanufacture of a Model 204.81 cylinder assembly (150 mm stroke, Assembly #094081-05, S/N 299) including grinding and resurfacing piston rods to factory standards, resurfacing or replacing end cap bearings, inspecting and correcting clearances to specifications, and pressure checking for performance verification. CLIN 2 and CLIN 3 involve rebuilding two Hydraulic Service Manifold (HSM) Model 294.12 units (S/N 1297 and S/N 1349) with specified replacement components including seal kits, accumulators, filter kits, reducing valves, directional control valves, check valves, piston poppets, and servo valves (10 GPM for CLIN 2; 15 GPM for CLIN 3), with existing servo valves to be returned to the customer. CLIN 4 requires remanufacture of a Model 244.22 cylinder assembly (Assembly #379992-01, S/N 652) with additional requirements to ground and resurface piston rods, modify the piston rod for "Tempo Ready" capability, resurface or replace end cap bearings, replace seals with a G1+/G2 seal kit designed for the new surface, apply G1+ identification marking, and conduct pressure checks and performance verification. All remanufactured parts must be delivered to NASA Langley Research Center, Mail Stop 188E, Building 1206 (Receiving), 4 S. Marvin Street, Hampton, VA 23681.

STATEMENT OF WORK TEMPLATE
1.0 Introduction/Background: Two stands are inoperable in the structures and materials laboratories (buildings 1205) within the Durability Damage Tolerance and Reliability Branch (DDTRB). Actuators and manifolds need repairs for these MTS controlled hydraulic test stands for upcoming work. Currently these test stands are inoperable and need parts replaced and rebuilt. This work is needed to get these test stands operational.
2.0 Scope of Work: Rebuild two provided actuators and two manifolds as specified.
CLIN 1: Cylinder Assembly Remanufacture for Model 204.81; 150 mm (6 in) Stroke Model 204.81, Assembly # 094081-05, S/N 299:
Piston rods are to be grond and resurfaced to factory standards
End cap bearings are to be resurface or replaced
Clearances are inspected and brought to specifications
Pressure check and verify performance
CLIN 2: For Hydraulic Servis Manifold (HSM) Model 294.12, S/N 1297 rebuild with the following components:
