About this file
This Statement of Work details the procurement and installation of an auxiliary supply pump package for NASA's Stennis Space Center High-Pressure Industrial Water (HPIW) Facility. The project requires a contractor to provide and install one Goulds 3409S Split Case Auxiliary Supply Pump (Model 8x12-22L) with a 600 HP, 4160V, 3-phase motor, along with associated valves, flanges, and pipe spools. Field installation services are mandatory, including removing existing equipment, preparing foundations, installing new equipment, performing final alignment, and cleaning the site.
The project timeline spans 24 weeks, beginning with purchase order award (Week 0) and concluding with documentation and site acceptance (Week 24). Key contractor responsibilities include providing all equipment, performing installation tasks, supplying labor and materials, conducting alignment and stress analysis, and providing component conformance certificates. The government will provide worksite access, an electrician for electrical connections, and review submittals within 10 business days. Delivery will be to Building 4400 at Stennis Space Center in Mississippi, with fabrication occurring between weeks 0-20, delivery in week 20, installation in weeks 21-22, and final completion by week 23.
