About this file

This SAM.gov Synopsis details a sole-source federal contract opportunity for a Power Supply Assembly for the M-D6 Patriot Weapon System. The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation (DLA) is seeking to acquire a minimum of 20 and maximum of 60 power supply assemblies through a five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Firm-Fixed Price contract. The solicitation (SPRRA2-25-R-0054) is exclusively for Quasar Power & Technologies Inc. (doing business as MILPOWER SOURCE, INC.), with a production lead time of 1,140 days with first article testing or 570 days without testing.

The procurement is being conducted under AMSC 4B, which stipulates that the part must be acquired from a specific manufacturing source due to the unavailability of suitable technical data, government data rights, or manufacturing knowledge that would permit acquisition from alternative sources. Strict export control restrictions apply, requiring active United States/Canada Joint Certification Program (JCP) certification for both the quoter and manufacturer. Delivery will be to the US Army Aviation & Missiles Command Fleet Management Center at Fort Bliss, TX, with firms encouraged to seek source approval for potential future competitive solicitations.
