SYNOPSIS:
The Bureau of Reclamation, Upper Colorado Basin (UCB) Region is seeking to purchase a programmable logic controller, associated modules, and software for the inclusion into the CRSP SCADA sandbox. This requirement is being procured in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12- Acquisition of Commercial Items in conjunction with Part 13- Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as a 100% small business set aside. The BOR intends to issue a brand name or equal competitive solicitation for this requirement.
SOLICITATION RELEASE DATE: The release date for the formal solicitation number 140R4025Q0055 is anticipated for the middle of May of 2025. Interested parties are encouraged to monitor this announcement for updates and the release of the solicitation documents. The solicitation documents for this procurement will be accessible from the System for Award Management (SAM) website, www.sam.gov. It is, and will continue to be, all potential offeror's responsibility to monitor the SAM website for any amendments, updates, responses to questions and answers.
BACKGROUND & SPECIFICATION OVERVIEW:
The specifications and system design are based on Rockwell Automation’s 1756 ControlLogix platform. The equipment provided shall be the latest newly manufactured, pre-installed with the latest stable firmware version. The contract will be competed for Brand name or equal products that meet or exceed the specified product’s technical specifications, and the requirements listed with in this specification will be considered.
NAICS & SIZE STANDARD:
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 335999 All Other Miscellaneous Electrical Equipment and Component Manufacturing, with a small business size standard of no more than 600 Employees. The product service (PSC) code is 6110.
SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT:
The System for Award Management (SAM) is an implemented Federal Government owned-and-operated FREE web site that consolidates the capabilities in Central Contractor Registration (CCR)/Federal Register (FedReg), Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA), and Excluded Parties List System (EPLS). Potential offerors must be successfully registered and maintain an active registration in the SAM database, found at https://www.sam.gov/SAM/, in order to be considered for a Government contract award.
