PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE:

The National Park Service Contracting Operations (ConOps) Central, Lakewood Major Acquisition Buying Office, is issuing a Request for Quotation (RFQ) to replace the concrete pathway at Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument. The acquisition will be conducted using FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Process.

SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P1225Q0010

Project Description: The project involves removal and relocation of existing site boulders; demolition of approximately 60 SF of concrete slab; careful removal of the bench embedded in the concrete slab and reinstallation via surface mounting with anchor bolts adjacent to the visitor center.

PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $25,000 and $100,000.

Period of Performance: The performance period is anticipated to be 90 calendar days, after issuance of Notice to Proceed.

TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract expected to be awarded to a prime contractor in mid-July 2025. Construction Wage Rate Requirements for Teller County, CO will apply.

North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: 238110 Poured Concrete Foundation and Structure Contractors. The small business size standard is $19 million.

This project is set aside 100 % for Small Business Set Aside Total.

SITE VISIT: Will be noted in Solicitation package when posted to SAM.GOV.

The contracting office will not provide hardcopies or email copies of the solicitation.

REGISTRATIONS: In order to be awarded a contract, an offeror must have an UEI number. Also, the offeror must be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM), website at http://www.sam.gov, and have completed their Online Representations and Certifications at the time of the solicitation close date once the solicitation is posted.

The government intends to issue a formal Solicitation with construction specifications on or about June 16, 2025. If this date is delayed, the solicitation will follow as soon as possible. This is the preliminary notice of a solicitation that will follow. The responses will be due approximately 28 days after the RFQ issue date and it is anticipated close on July 14, 2025. The specific date and time will be announced in the solicitation that will follow this notice.
