DESCRIPTION: In order to ensure compatibility and conformity with existing systems/programs, the Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) intends negotiate with, and award a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Indefinite-Delivery-Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract, on a sole source basis to Component Repair Technologies, Inc. (CRT), 8507 TYLER BLVD., MENTOR, OH 44060-4231, to procure the services to repair and upgrade US Navy LM2500 Gas Turbine material to the highest configuration (Industrial Commonality Configuration), on behalf of the 2SCOG Program. CRT is the only repair activity on the required General Electric (OEM) Aircraft Engine approved vendor list with the ability to execute all of the necessary upgrades which include GE and CRT proprietary procedures.

It is the Government’s intention therefore, to procure these repair and upgrade services under the authority of USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1, as CRT is the only source that will satisfy the Government’s requirements.
