About this file

This synopsis is a pre-solicitation notice for the United States Air Force, specifically the Air Force Sustainment Center at Tinker AFB, seeking a remanufacturing contract for F-15 heat exchanger air components. The requirements involve remanufacturing five specific items (NSNs 1660015688612, 1660016624458, 4820016212746TP, 1660016213794TP) through a firm fixed-price requirements contract with a five-year duration (three basic years and two option years). The contractor will be responsible for complete remanufacturing processes including disassembly, cleaning, inspection, maintenance, reassembly, testing, and finishing to return items to like-new condition.

Key contract details include quarterly delivery of 1-2 units every 30 days, with total quantities ranging from 6-155 units per item type over the contract period. Qualification requirements mandate potential vendors submit a Source Approval Request (SAR) package, and the government emphasizes the need for existing unique design capability and engineering skills. The estimated solicitation award date is December 2025, and it is a sole-source contract with no specific small business set-aside. Interested vendors must email technical data requests to specified Air Force contacts and comply with all solicitation requirements, including specifying business size and ownership status.
