Electric Discharge Machine SYNOPSIS

This announcement serves as a synopsis for informational purposes only. THIS IS NOT A

RFQ.

Anniston Army Depot (ANAD) intends to solicit for a quantity of THREE (3) CNC Wire Electrical Discharge Machines. The CNC Wire EDM shall be new and one of the manufacturer’s current models. The CNC Wire EDM shall be a fully integrated system operated by computer numerical control (CNC). The CNC Wire EDM shall have within the control software and technology for cutting a wide range of materials. The CNC Wire EDM shall have an axis drive system capable of both straight and contour linear cutting perpendicular to the work piece in any direction and at vertical angles up to 45 degrees using CNC. The Contractor shall be responsible for delivery and complete installation of the CNC Wire EDM to include all labor and materials required. All in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW). Delivery and installed at the Anniston Army Depot, 7 Frankford Avenue, Anniston, Alabama, 36201.

This will be a small business set aside procurement. North American Industry Classification System Code is 332999 and the associated size standard is 500 employees. A solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502, and 5.102(a); therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. The estimated issue date is 30 May 2024. Proposals must be submitted electronically as stated in the solicitation. Vendors may download an electronic copy of the solicitation on or after the issue date at https://sam.gov. Hard copies will not be provided.

Because the solicitation and any amendments will be issued electronically, the Government is under no obligation to maintain a bidder’s mailing list. It is incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to respond in accordance with the amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals may render an offeror’s proposal non-responsive and may result in rejection of the proposal.
