About this file
This is a Synopsis Draft for a pre-solicitation notice announcing an upcoming federal procurement. The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation (DLA Aviation) is seeking a structural support component (NSN 1560-01-616-5717) for the AH-64E helicopter platform. The acquisition will be conducted as a non-commercial Firm Fixed Price Contract under FAR Part 15 procedures and is unrestricted, meaning it is open to all eligible contractors. The solicitation (SPE4A526R0182) is anticipated to be issued on or about July 16, 2026, with a requested delivery of 436 days after receipt of order. The sole approved source is The Boeing Company (CAGE Code 8V613), though the synopsis specifically invites responses from surplus dealers, small business dealers, and distributors with existing inventory of surplus or newly manufactured material.
Interested parties should submit responses including a completed surplus certificate (DLAD 52.211-9000) or adequate traceability documentation, along with quantity available and pricing information. The contract terms are FOB Origin with inspection and acceptance at destination. The final award decision will be based on a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as outlined in the formal RFP, which will be available for download via the DIBBS website (https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/) in PDF format on the issue date. The government reserves the right to alter its acquisition strategy if purchasing existing surplus or newly manufactured inventory is deemed in the government's best interest.
