Text version

This announcement serves as a synopsis for informational purposes only. It is not an RFP. The Anniston Army Depot intends to solicit a contract for services to produce crushed concrete suitable for Anniston Army Depot (ANAD) to use as a substitute for purchased material. The crushed concrete produced shall meet the requirements of the Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) specification cited herein. The Contractor may be required to mobilize, operate and demobilize equipment for multiple crushing cycles during the base contract period and any subsequent, exercised option years. The number of operating cycles is expected to range from 1 to 3 per year and is dependent upon the amount of concrete accumulated by the Government during the contract period. The Government shall accumulate a minimum of 7,000 tons of concrete suitable for crushing prior to notifying the Contractor to begin performance of a crushing cycle. This procurement will be 100% set aside for small business. North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 238910, and the associated size standard is $19,000,000. A solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102(a). The estimated issue date is September 15, 2025. Proposals must be submitted electronically as stated in the solicitation. Vendors may download an electronic copy of the solicitation on or after the issue date at https://www.sam.gov. Hard copies will not be provided. Because the solicitation and any amendments will be issued electronically, the Government is under no obligation to maintain a bidder’s mailing list. It is incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access https://www.sam.gov to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to respond in accordance with the amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals may render an offeror’s proposal non-responsive and may result in rejection of the proposal.
