16. Description: Military Sealift Command (MSC) Norfolk has a requirement for the USNS COMFORT (T-AH 20) for a MTA. The place of performance will be at a Contractor’s facility on the East Coast or Gulf Coast. A draft work item list is separately attached to this notice and a list of the noteworthy work is as follows:

17. The decision to solicit as a Small Business Set Aside was based on Market Research. MSC received interest from six (6) small business concerns under NAICS 336611, which has a size standard of 1,250 employees. The MSC Small Business representative and Small Business Administration Procurement Center Representative concurs with decision to solicit as a small business set aside.
