About this file

This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the procurement of one L3Harris Small Tactical Terminal (KOR-24A) system for the 563d Rescue Group pursuant to the Angel Tiger program. The 563d Rescue Group will use the STT for secure communication, data transmission, and enhanced situational awareness during conflict representative large force exercises and capability demonstrations. L3Harris shall deliver a fully functional KOR-24A solution including one terminal unit, VHF/UHF and L-Band antennas, two batteries with charging equipment, necessary cabling, ruggedized carrying cases, a mounting tray with fan, and a power conditioning unit. The contractor must provide all required software and licenses (including SCA v2.2.2 or higher), integration with ADSI and JRE systems, electronic and hard copies of user manuals and technical documentation, operator and maintenance training for 10 personnel at Nellis Air Force Base Nevada, and one-year warranty with 24-hour technical support response time for critical issues.

The STT KOR-24A must meet specified performance requirements including operating temperature specifications for forced convection and cooling systems, frequency ranges from 512 MHz to 1206 MHz across VHF/UHF and Link 16 bands, power output of 50 mW to 5 W for VHF/UHF and 63 W for Link 16, and support for multiple cryptographic algorithms including KY-57, ANDVT/KYV-5, KY-99, and AES. The system shall comply with MIL-STD-810F environmental conditions, interoperate with existing Link 16 and VHF/UHF systems, and feature modular design with enhanced anti-jam capabilities. Acceptance requires physical inspection, factory acceptance testing, and on-site testing at the 88th Test and Evaluation Squadron at Nellis AFB including range tests, data throughput tests, and interoperability tests with BATS-D, JRE, and HH-60W systems. The period of performance extends from 26 February 2026 through 31 March 2027. All equipment, software, and documentation must comply with DOD Directive 8500.01E and NISPOM security requirements, with access restricted to authorized personnel with appropriate security clearances.
