About this file

This document outlines the salient characteristics for a procurement of one (1) fully functional L3Harris KOR-24A Small Tactical Terminal (STT) by the Department of the Air Force Air Combat Command. The requirement encompasses equipment delivery including one terminal with VHF/UHF and L-Band antennas, batteries, charging equipment, cabling, ruggedized carrying cases, mounting tray with fan, and power conditioning unit. The vendor must provide all necessary software and licenses, including SCA v2.2.2 or higher, with integration capabilities for ADSI and JRE systems. Documentation deliverables include electronic and hard copies of user manuals, technical manuals, and quick start guides. The procurement also requires operator and maintenance training for 10 personnel at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada, along with one-year hardware and software warranty with 24-hour technical support response time for critical issues.

The STT KOR-24A must meet L3Harris product specifications (dated 02/2023, Rev-201 or later) including specific operating temperature ranges, frequency capabilities across multiple bands (512 MHz, 762-870 MHz, 225-450 MHz, 969-1206 MHz), power output specifications, and cryptographic capabilities. The system must demonstrate MIL-STD-810F environmental compliance, interoperability with existing Link 16 and VHF/UHF systems, P25 trunked capability, and enhanced anti-jam features. Delivery of all equipment and materials is due February 28, 2026, with training completion by March 31, 2026. Acceptance testing will occur at the 88th Test and Evaluation Squadron, Nellis AFB, Nevada, and include range tests, data throughput tests, and interoperability testing with BATS-D, JRE, and HH-60W systems. The period of performance extends from November 1, 2025, through March 31, 2027. All deliverables must comply with DOD Directive 8500.01E and NISPOM security requirements, with personnel involved possessing appropriate security clearances. The government point of contact is A1C Judah Morton at 520-228-0041.
