SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE: PM SBCT

1. PROGRAM: Program Manager Stryker Brigade Combat Team (SBCT)

2. SUBJECT: MARKET RESEARCH FOR THE STRYKER FAMILY OF VEHICLES (FOV) LIFECYCLE REQUIREMENTS IN THE AREA OF LOGISTICS which covers transportation, supply and maintenance. Sources sought information for Logistics will cover Special Tools and Test Equipment (STTE) Containerization.

3. DESCRIPTION AND BACKGROUND:

EFFORT
PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE
STTE Containerization
01 Mar 22 – 28 Feb 27

Special Tools have expanded the footprint of Stryker Maintenance Units, which in turn, creates a challenge to account for, locate, transport, store and access tools to effect timely repair on the battlefield. In order to reduce cost and increase efficiency, The Government is looking to procure 2 variations of containers, 20 foot and 8 foot, in coordination with SBCT, that will assist the Net Equipment Training (NET) and Fielding personnel with the organization of STTE. A Technical Data package (TDP) is available upon request and will be supplied with the Request for Proposal (RFP).

SBCT continuously conducts market research in accordance with FAR 10.002(b)(2) to determine whether other capabilities of industry can be used to fulfill its life cycle requirements and to ensure its acquisition methods obtain the best value for the Government. This market survey is part of an ongoing initiative with industry to better understand the current capabilities that may be of interest to SBCT. It is anticipated that the United States Government (USG) will award five year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Firm-Fixed Price contract for its Logistics requirements. The purpose of this request for information (RFI) is to determine the potential market capabilities to perform the contract requirements.
