About this file
This is a project description document for a street resurfacing initiative in North Carolina involving municipal infrastructure improvements. The project encompasses the resurfacing of approximately 5,145 linear feet of city streets, totaling approximately 17,150 square yards of 1 Bituminous Concrete Surface Paving (FS 9.5A). The scope of work includes the application of asphalt for leveling and widening purposes (approximately 50 tons), the raising of twenty-three (23) manholes with cast iron adjustment rings, and the raising of twenty (20) valve boxes with cast iron rings. The project description indicates that this is a 2026 initiative, though specific response dates, due dates, site visit schedules, bidder meetings, and award dates are not detailed in the available documentation.
The document references an associated water service backflow protection device installation project for East Henderson High School, which will include the installation of associated valves, fittings, and related appurtenances. No specific pricing terms, set-asides, incumbent contractor information, funding sources, or budget amounts are provided in the file. Additional contract details such as the term duration, renewal options, and specific financial requirements would require review of supplementary bidding documents or contract specifications.
