Cuyahoga Valley National Park
STATEMENT OF WORK
FOR
Portable Toilet Service
(FY23 base year plus 4 option years – FY24, FY25, FY26, FY27)
NATIONAL PARK SERVICE
INTERIOR REGIONS 3/4/5
OHIO MAJOR ACQUISITION BUYING OFFICE
OBJECTIVES
Contractor is to provide and service on site portable toilets at the locations listed below.
LOCATION OF THE WORK TO BE PERFORMED
2 (two) Locations:
1. Happy Days Lodge: (north parking lot) 434 SR 303, Peninsula 44264
2. East Rim Bike & Hike Trailhead: (parking lot) Boston Mills Rd.& Akron Peninsula Rd, Peninsula 44264
PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE
Base year - This service will begin on Sept. 15, 2023 and expire on Sept. 14, 2024.
Option year 1 - This service will begin Sept. 15, 2024 and expire on Sept. 14, 2025.
Option year 2 - This service will begin Sept. 15, 2025 and expire on Sept. 14, 2026.
Option year 3 - This service will begin Sept. 15, 2026 and expire on Sept. 14, 2027.
Option year 4 - This service will begin Sept. 15, 2027 and expire on Sept. 14, 2028.
WORK TO BE PERFORMED
Happy Days Lodge: (north parking lot) 434 SR 303, Peninsula 44264
1 ADA unit, with hand sanitizer; located in NE corner of parking lot
Service: to include pumping tank and refilling, wipe-down of interior surfaces with disinfectant, re-stocking toilet paper and hand sanitizer unit.
Oct through May: 1x per week (Friday) June through Sept: 2x per week (Monday & Friday)
East Rim Bike & Hike Trailhead: (parking lot) Boston Mills Rd.& Akron Peninsula Rd., Peninsula 44264
1 ADA unit, with hand sanitizer located in main parking lot, N of Kiosk between the 4th and 5th bollard from entrance off Boston Mills Rd.
Service: To include pumping tank and refilling, wipe-down of interior surfaces with disinfectant, re-stocking toilet paper and hand sanitizer unit.
Oct through May: 1x per week (Friday) June through Sept: 2x per week (Monday & Friday)
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
1) Government reserves the right to add/remove locations on an as needed basis within scope of this contract
ADDITIONAL SERVICE - may need to be required at each location
■ Up to 11 ‘extra service’ requests for special events or emergencies.
■ Service to fall on days specified, even if falling on a holiday.
■ Service / units required for visitor use and sanitation.
By Request:
ADDITIONAL Portable Units - may need to be required at each location or at additional location within the Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
■ ADA Unit by request, with hand sanitizer
■ Normal Unit by request, with hand sanitizer
Service: To include pumping tank and refilling, wipe-down of interior surfaces with disinfectant, re-stocking toilet paper and hand sanitizer unit.
