About this file
This Statement of Work details a procurement by the Institute for Telecommunication Sciences (ITS) for five low-noise amplifiers to support spectrum measurement and analysis research. The specific requirement is for L3 Narda-Miteq's low noise amplifier model LNA-40-00102600-30-10P or an equivalent product operating at midband frequencies (3-16 GHz). Detailed functional specifications include a minimum gain of 40 dB, maximum noise figure of 3 dB, operating temperature range of -40°C to +75°C, and 2.92mm female connectors. Typical applications include wireless infrastructure, military and aerospace, test instruments, and fiber optics. The delivery schedule requires the items to be delivered by November 10, 2025, or within 15 weeks after receipt of order (ARO).

Statement of Work/Specifications
BACKGROUND:
Spectrum measurement and analysis are core functions of the Institute for Telecommunication Sciences (ITS). The primary functions of several key programs at ITS, including Spectrum Monitoring, mm-wave, and the Radio Spectrum Measurement System (RSMS) programs, for example, are to measure and analyze different spectrum processes and parameters, e.g., usage, interference, signal and system characteristics, and propagation loss. ITS uses custom-built measurement systems to accomplish this.
ITS requires mm-wave components such as low-noise amplifiers, waveguide switches, noise diodes, coaxial cables, and antennas to be able to construct these custom-built measurement systems to support laboratory experiments and field measurements related to emerging fifth generation (5G) and sixth generation (6G) mobile wireless technology.
OBJECTIVE:
The objective of this procurement is to acquire five (5) low-noise amplifiers that operate at midband (3- 16 GHz) frequencies for development of ITS custom-built measurement systems.
