Statement of Work Requirement: New Audio-Video System for Conference Room 125 Location: USDA ARS< U.S. Vegetable Laboratory, 2700 Savannah Highway, Charleston, SC 29414 The projector and the audio (microphone, amplifiers) system in the large conference room 125 at the USDA ARS, U.S. Vegetable Laboratory in Charleston is very old and not working properly. The large conference room is 72 feet long X 32 feet wide and is carpeted.

Pictures of the conference room are included in this statement of work.

The conference room needs the following:

1. New Projector system with Adequate ANSI lumnens (>7000) for a room of 72 feet x 32 feet, and professional installation. The projector’s celling drop down mount is about 25-feet away from the drop down screen. Standard throw projector. Resolution needed 1920 x 1200. At least 20,000 hours lamp life. A NEC projector will be preferred.

2. Amplifier (Class D 1 x 120 Watts (70/100 Volts).

3. Video conferencing system (owl or some other type of system to handle the conference room), optical zoom Full-HD camera that can go on USB port, HDMI etc. for streaming conference or meetings.

4. Connections to extend Laptop on Lectern to the projector.

5. Control panel for the projector and the audio system.

6. Hardware and supplies necessary for installation of this project including cables, interconnects, HDMI transmitter, receiver etc.

7. Complete professional installation of the project and checking to make sure all the systems are working properly.

What the conference room has: The large conference room currently has the following in working conditions:

· Screen: 1 (one large display) The screen can be dropped down or rolled up using a button.

· One lectern is present in the room with place for a laptop computer. Only one lap top will be used. A microphone is also installed on the lectern.

· A drop-down system from the ceiling is in place where the projector can be installed.

· Dimensions of Room: 72 ft long x 30 ft wide

· Distance from Drop down projector mount to display screen is approximately 25 feet.

· Celling height: 9.5 ft

· Speakers in room: 6 in working condition.

· An old amplifier is currently in place (Direct 70V, CX302V) that is used along with the existing speakers.
