About this file
This is a Statement of Work for the USS ESSEX Repair division requiring replacement reducing valves for seawater pressure reduction systems. The requirement specifies a total of 11 reducing valves across three sizes: 2 units of 1" H style, 3 units of 1½" H style, and 6 units of 2" H style. All valves must meet identical specifications including the ability to reduce seawater pressure from 175 psi to 50 psi, bronze body construction, Silbraz union end connections, K-Monel trim, and U/E O-Ring with retaining ring. Contractors must submit manufacturer and model numbers along with technical specification sheets or suitable data to verify compliance with minimum specifications; if offering an "or equal" product, the system must be designed as a complete and compatible unit.
Delivery is FOB Destination by traceable means to USS ESSEX at Naval Base San Diego, with the specific pier to be provided at the time of delivery. Material acceptance occurs after all purchase and ordering steps are completed. Payment will be made via Government Purchase Card, and vendors must submit invoices meeting FAR 52.212-4(g) requirements. All contractor personnel performing pick-up and delivery services at Naval Base San Diego must have current Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) registration and certification. The Statement of Work does not specify a response date, award date, or pricing terms.
