About this file

This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for a contract to modify the exhaust filter housing for 131 poultry isolator stacks at the USDA's Southeast Poultry Research Laboratory in Athens, Georgia. The key requirements include:

Fabricating adapter boxes to allow access to the pre-filters from outside the isolator cabinets, using stainless steel components. A total of 262 boxes are needed, with removable doors to access the pre-filters. The project must be completed within 120 days from the notice to proceed, and the facility will remain occupied during construction. The related federal contract opportunity is Solicitation Number 12405B24Q0294, which seeks quotes for the required modifications to the stainless steel isolators. The government anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price contract to the responsible offeror whose quote conforms to the requirements and represents the best value, considering technical acceptability, past performance, and price.
