About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details the requirements for purchasing an electric reach truck and battery charger for the LGRML warehouse at the Navy Supply Point (NAVSUP) in Lakehurst. The facility supports 156 weapon systems for eleven US Navy aircraft carriers and currently has only one reach truck shared by 13 employees. The required electric reach truck must have at least 3,500 lb. lift capacity, a lift height of 190" or more, heavy-duty tires, the ability to operate in tight spaces, and include safety features like a switch pedal that disables the vehicle.
The SOW specifies that the reach truck will be used for street loading/unloading of trucks carrying valuable assets for over 50 NAVSUP organizations, with daily operations including lifting 3.5-4K lbs. for 6-8 hours, and performing tasks such as validations, inventory management, drawdowns, and unit transfers. Delivery is requested within 30 days after award, between 0700 and 1400 hours, with a battery requirement of 24 Volts or higher. The purchase is part of a planned expansion of capabilities at the Lakehurst Mini-Supply-Point beginning in FY 2025, addressing current equipment limitations by replacing the single existing reach truck.

1.1 NAVSUP deemed it will greatly increase the capabilities of the warfighter with an addition of a Mini-Supply-Point at Lakehurst beginning FY 2025. Currently, we are constantly borrowing MHE from our 305th TMO partners on a daily basis to fulfill our mission because we only have one reach truck available for 13 employees to share.

4. Daily Use of Lift:
a. Street loading and unloading of trucks carrying valuable assets for over 50
NAVSUP organizations, traveling up to 150 yds at a time
