Statement of Work Norfolk Naval Shipyard Naval Sea Systems Alarm Monitoring Point Section A: Scope
1. Objective:
This Performance Work Statement (PWS) describes requirements for Norfolk Naval Shipyard / Naval Sea Systems (NNSY/NAVSEA) Alarm Monitoring Point (AMP). The objective of this PWS is to have sufficient personnel to meet the requirements for AMP at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard.
2. Background/Introduction:
NAVSEA requires personnel to monitor alarms, Closed Circuit Television (CCTV), and radio communications associated with special security missions, as well as alarms for Open Storage Secret (OSS) spaces. Additionally, AMP monitors Radiological Affairs Support Program (RASP) alarms in support of NNSY due to Regional Dispatch Center’s inability to dispatch within the allotted timeframe for such alarms. Code 1124 is currently utilizing personnel from the NNSY Reasonable Accommodations (RA) program to fill open billets, which will no longer be an available option. RA program personnel are not assigned for a designated period but rather until their situation is resolved. This has directly affected Code 1124’s ability to man all shifts and provide proper monitoring of NNSY/NAVSEA facilities.
3. Limitations of Work:
