About this file
This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for a contract to provide equipment replacement for broken or non-functioning glucose meters to the Alexander T. Augusta Military Medical Center (ATAMMC). The contractor shall comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and shall provide replacement meters within 24-48 hours of receipt of broken meters to ensure continuous point-of-care testing capabilities. The contractor shall provide telephonic technical support and maintain the equipment per the original manufacturer's specifications. The government will be responsible for maintaining the cloud-based system and providing supplies per the manufacturer's instructions.
The related federal contract opportunity is a pre-solicitation for the ATAMMC to procure Accu-Chek glucose meters, service warranty, and supplies. The government is conducting market research to identify qualified contractors who can provide 10 "no-cost" Accu-Chek glucose meters and related services in exchange for the government purchasing meters, test strips, controls, and linearity kits over a base year and 4 option years. The meters must meet specific technical requirements, including the ability to interface with the Remote Automated Lab System (RALS) and MHS Genesis. The contractor must be an authorized dealer, distributor, or reseller of the Accu-Chek equipment and provide OEM warranty and service. The anticipated contract start date is September 2024.
