About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details a procurement for Quidel Ortho Vitros 5600 reagents and supplies for the Jicarilla Service Unit of the Indian Health Service located in Dulce, New Mexico. The contract is structured for a base year with four option years, requiring name-brand reagents that meet federal clinical laboratory testing regulations (42 CFR Part 493). Key technical requirements include product availability from a single vendor, compatibility with the Vitros 5600 machine, lot sequestering capabilities for a minimum of 6 months, and delivery within one week of order with strict temperature and storage compliance.
The associated pre-solicitation notice indicates this is a market research effort to determine if the opportunity can be set aside for Small Business Indian Firms, 100% Indian Owned Economic Enterprises, or small businesses. Interested vendors must be registered in SAM, submit a Statement of Capabilities, and respond to specific questions about their business classification by July 15, 2025. The solicitation will eventually be posted on SAM.gov, with the primary contact being Eric K. Wright from the Indian Health Service. The procurement falls under NAICS code 334516 for Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing, and vendors are required to provide detailed information about their capabilities, past performance, and business characteristics.
